Visiting Well & Good A Delicious Dish Experience: Great Coffee at W&G Near Portland

Located in Tigard, Oregon (a suburb of Portland) is an adorable non-profit coffee shop that we call W&G. We call it this because that's what their cups say but more importantly it stands for Well and Good A Delicious Dish...which is a mouth full.

We're not sure about the name or where it even started but we love finding cute coffee shops and love even more when they give back. Since W&G is nonprofit, the vibe is more relaxing, less corporate grind always on the go.

We stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop and bakery when Kelsey walked around while waiting for Philip to finish up at a doctor's appointment and fell in love immediately. Think cute, little cafe with a hipster feel surrounded by Portland trees.

About W&G Cafe

As with most coffee shops, W&G offers both coffee and tea selections, hot and cold. They also have some smoothies and lemonade along with some other juices.

The coffee is sourced locally and since we are in Portland, it's no surprise that they offer plenty of milk alternative options. They offer delicious bakery items including gluten-free options.

For food, they have an impressive and unique breakfast and lunch menu. Most of the items are easy to take on the go and have a healthy feel to it.

The cafe is located in Tigard which is only about fifteen minutes from downtown Portland. The cafe does close early around 4 pm on weekdays and 2 pm Saturdays.

Our favorite bakery item is the lemon blueberry muffin but we also love the bagels. Kelsey typically orders a soy matcha latte and Phil can't leave anywhere without getting a chocolate chip cookie.

Giving Back

We know that W&G is a nonprofit, which already sets the stage for a better environment. They focus more on quality instead of numbers treating their customers as individuals and not just another sale.

The biggest way they give back is through their focus on the community. They want a place where members of the community can relax and enjoy the moment.

In a world where everyone seems to be running a race, having a place to unwind and recharge is a must. A lot of coffee cafes seem frantic as everyone rushes around you but W&G cafe seems chill.
